Study Abroad
Seeking to instill a global perspective in all of our students, the College of Business Administration challenges undergraduates to develop the requisite knowledge and skills to prosper in today's global business environment.
To help students meet that challenge, the college provides these critical tools:
- An enhanced core curriculum that covers international business in all relevant courses
- Extraordinary programs for international study and internships
- A unique opportunity to delve into principles of international business through a collateral or dual concentration in international business
As part of the University of Tennessee's comprehensive plan to help students gain the international and intercultural knowledge to succeed, the College of Business Administration requires all students pursuing international business to have an international educational experience.
Coursework in the international business collateral or dual concentration may be completed through a study abroad program. To begin planning for foreign study, meet with your academic advisor to discuss opportunities, programs, and curricular issues.
Applications for Undergraduate International Travel Scholarships are accepted the semester prior to the study abroad experience. For spring study abroad, applications are due October 1. For mini-term and summer, applications are due February 1. For fall, applications are due April 1.
