NOTES:

^aAt least one course must be taken from the Statistics Department
^bAt least two courses must be taken from the Statistics Department

• The Level A courses must be an approved sequence.
• The Statistics M.S. requires 33 hours, (IGSP hours plus 9 hours) plus comprehensive exams.
• Courses taken for the doctoral degree may fulfill requirements for the M.S. degree in Statistics.
• Courses taken for the minor or the master’s degree in Statistics may fulfill requirements for the doctoral program. Contact the home department.
• Some of the Level B hours may be obtained from certain Level A and C courses upon approval by the IGSP Executive Committee and the student’s home department.
• The student’s home department must verify the fulfillment of non-Statistics degree requirements.

Statistics course recommendations for specific concentration areas (approved by IGSP Executive Committee):

Note: For the minor with the M.S. degree, at least one course must be from the Statistics Department. 

Level A courses (6 hours). Choose a sequence:

(PS 561 or Stat 531) and (AS / PSS 571) or

Stat 571 and 572

Level B courses (3 hours):

            AS 572, Stat 573, 578, 579,
