Dr. Miller a Tennessee native who received his MBA from Dartmouth College and Ph.D. from the University of Washington. He has been the principal investigator on more than 20 research grants, authored or co-authored four books and numerous articles, and won five teaching awards from the University and a Chancellor's Service Award. His current focus is on bringing innovation to organizations ranging from the United States Air Force to small nonprofit organizations. His research appears in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Business Strategy, Jornal of Business Research, Jornal of Management Studies, Corporate Environmental Strategy, and others.
