Mr. Joe McCarty is a Lecturer in management at the College of Business Administration. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Vanderbilt Law School.
Joe was the managing partner of a Memphis law firm before joining FedEx Corporation as Vice President Law/International Law. Later, Joe was the first President of FedEx’s Asia, Pacific & Middle East Division; first President of FedEx’s Latin America & Caribbean Division, and President and CEO of FedEx Logistics. Joe was a member of FedEx’s Strategic Management Committee.
Joe is a member of the Tennessee Bar, North Carolina Bar, and Wyoming Bar. He is a member of the American Corporate Counsel Association and American Bar Association.
