Dr. Duchon received his Ph.D. in Management from the University of Houston. Prior to coming to UT he was Professor of Management at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he also served as Chair of the Department, and held a joint appointment in the School of Public Health at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. Dr. Duchon has published widely in management journals in the areas of leadership, decision making, workplace motivation, and complexity science. His work appears in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Management, Decision Sciences, MIS Quarterly, The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Management Inquiry, Journal of Management Studies, and many others.
