Dr. Crook’s research concentrates on firm make, buy, and/or alliance decisions, how supply chain management influences firm performance, and what leads some firms to outperform others. His research has been published in outlets such as the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Operations Management, Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly, and Journal of Managerial Issues. Dr. Crook holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Florida State University. Before receiving his Ph.D., Russell worked for American Airlines, US Airways, and IBM in a variety of capacities, including operations management, scheduling, strategic planning, and global procurement.
