Dr. Atchley holds a BA from The University of Tennessee where she was a College Scholar and Tennessee Scholar. She also received her doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from UT. Kate is the director of Leadership Development Programs for the College of Business. She teaches in UT's Executive MBA programs, as well as teaching Organizational Behavior and Human Resources for UT's full-time MBA program. She has received four nominations for teaching excellence in the past three years. Her areas of research interest are employee selection and executive development. Kate is extensively involved in consulting activities and is a partner in the Tennessee Assessment Center, a company specializing in the selection of managers and executives.
