Thursday, March 13 - Welcome to Argentina! Buenos Aires City Tour

Latin American Study Tours will meet your group upon arrival into Buenos Aires' Ezeiza International Airport and provide you with transportation to the hotel to check-in. Your group will receive a Welcome Kit, containing important travel and cultural information during your stay in Argentina. Latin American Study Tours will give your group a brief introduction and the welcome kit, accompanied by a light brunch in the hotel. The group will have time to rest, freshen up, and start exploring the wonders of Buenos Aires during a city tour in the afternoon, followed by a late lunch at the famed Buenos Aires Puerto Madero boardwalk. Highlights of the tour include:

Friday, March 14 - Political & Economic climate

Your day will start with a presentation and general overview of Argentina's economic and political climate by the US Commercial Service or the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) if available. In the afternoon the group will visit a company.

Saturday, March 15 - The first half of the day will be spent at the hotel in review of doing business in South America. The rest of the day will be free time.

Sunday, March 16 - Day trip to San Telmo and Soccer Match

To welcome your group to Argentina, we will explore the storied San Telmo artisan market in the morning, and in the afternoon the group will attend a soccer match at one of Buenos Aires' world renowned soccer stadiums.

Monday, March 17– Company Visits

This day will consist of 2-3 company tours and presentations of companies based on industry preferences by the University of Tennessee.

Tuesday, March 18– Company Visits

This day will consist of 2-3 company tours and presentations of companies based on industry preferences by the University of Tennessee.

Wednesday, March 19Company Visits

This day will consist of 2-3 company tours and presentations of companies based on industry preferences by the University of Tennessee.

Thursday, March 20 - Shopping

Optional shopping on Santa Fe street, a leather manufacturer, and an artisan market. Group departs to the USA.
