The
Sales Forecasting Management Forum (SFMF) is an executive consortium
dedicated to furthering knowledge about sales forecasting, demand planning,
and market analysis, an integral part of supply chain management. Forum members participate in education and research
initiatives that enhance corporate understanding of the sales forecasting
and demand planning functions. Such initiatives include benchmarks
of sales forecasting management and demand planning practices, identification
of industry best practices, establishment of sales forecasting management
standards, improvement of forecasting methodologies, along with other
initiatives deemed pertinent by forum sponsors.
