What is the UT Investment Group (UTIG)?
Founded in fall 2010, the University of Tennessee Investment Group (UTIG) is a student-run organization which seeks to promote the knowledge of financial analysis and valuation concepts, to expose students to the activities of investment firms, and to allow students to manage an investment portfolio.
Mission Statement: The University of Tennessee Investment Group's mission is to develop a better understanding of financial markets through trading, investing and networking with industry professionals.
Membership Requirements: Undergraduate students who wish to join must currently be enrolled in or have completed Finance 301. Graduate students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join, with no prerequisites for these groups.
