John Moore has been associated with the Construction Industry Research and Policy Center since its inception. He has served as associate dean of the College of Business Administration and as head of the Department of Economics. Named an Alumni Distinguished Service Professor in 1989, Dr. Moore received a Chancellor’s Citation for Distinguished Service and was a University Mace Bearer. Author of four books and numerous articles on economic policy and, in particular, the coal industry, he has directed research projects funded by the National Science Foundation and the Ford Foundation.
