FIVE COLLEGE ALUMS NAMED CHANCELLOR’S ASSOCIATES
KNOXVILLE, TN — Five University of Tennessee College of Business Administation alums have been named to the UT Knoxville Chancellor’s Associates.
The group, established in 1972, exists to strengthen the tie between the university and the Knoxville community at large. A total of 22 community leaders, alumni and university volunteers were selected this year; currently, there are 63 members of the Chancellor’s Associates, each serving a three-year term of office.

In addition to welcoming these five new members, the Chancellor’s Associates include six other College of Business Administration alumni. They are Jim Atchley, executive vice president, First Tennessee Bank; Al Blakley, president, Alton E. Blakley Company; Booth Kammann, chief executive officer, Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians; James Schaad, owner and executive officer, Schaad Companies; Michael Strickland, chairman, Bandit Lites; and Chuck West, managing member, West and Associates.
